Hi, I’m Romana – illustrator, graphic designer & “child of the mountains,” based in Innsbruck, Tyrol.

I graduated from HTL Innsbruck (Graphics & Communication Design), started but didn’t finish a computer‑science degree at the University of Innsbruck, and then worked at indie studio Clockstone as designer and 3D artist.

Tired of screen time, together with my partner and dog, I trekked 1400 km from Innsbruck toward the Black Sea in three months. Back home I worked as an employee selling sports and mountaineering gear while doing some freelance graphic‑design work on the side. A project from that period impressed a multi‑company holding, which hired me as an in‑house designer to manage branding, web, social media and print for all its subsidiaries.

While I enjoy both print and web design, illustration is my true passion. I now work freelance, creating mostly vector graphics, customized icon sets, and hand‑drawn digital illustrations.
