Travel Through Time and Space

This is definitely my biggest work to date. The vector illustrations were created for a hotel situated beside a highway, so most guests treat it as a quick stop‑over. I turned that “on the road” feeling into a visual journey that weaves through the building. The artwork lines the hallway walls as wallpaper and doubles as orientation pieces, while details of it appear in the individual rooms. I played with multiple dimensions—both the physical space of the hotel and the passage of history. Starting on the first floor, the scene stays rooted in Kiefersfelden and shows the village with bicycles and motorized bikes. As you move upward, the view expands outward to the border region between Austria and Germany, then climbs to the mountain tops, and finally reaches outer space on the top floor. Each zoom level introduces a new mode of transport that marks its era: from early bicycles and motorbikes, to cars, ships, aircraft, and ultimately rockets soaring among the stars.
